I recently moved in based on previous reviews of the place, visits with the owner and information gleaned from tours of the unit and complex. I'm seriously impressed with the unique floorplans - excellent use of the space and of the built-in amenities. The tile floors and counters are real tile. The owner lives on property and takes serious interest in his tenants and their well-being (he knows every renter by first name, seriously). Maintenance is very good and fairly quick. The tenants are quiet and moderately friendly.

The buildings are solidly built from at least 1 decade ago, probably more like 2, so the place has good soundproofing. The location is pretty good, too...about a 1/4 mile from Richmond and 610, with at least two different routes to 59 and 610 from the unit. The complex is also at the end of a street that dead ends into another complex, so the traffic is light. The inner pool courtyard is small, but very made maintained as a miniature jungle and the pool is kept clean and in excellent shape.

The parking is assigned, with a remote to the single access gate inside, but guest parking is outside. It's not difficult for a few guests to find space most of the day or night. The grounds are kept very clean and maintained.

I plan on staying here for a few years at the very least. It's the best in the West part of Houston by a large margin.
