We lived here for over 2 ? years and were overall very pleased.
The staff was friendly in general and knew our names, as we theirs (overall the turnover of staff was rather low).
I always felt safe, and never heard about any shootings occurring when we lived there.
The amenities were nice--free breakfast once a month, a nice work-out facility, discounted massages, portrait opportunity, etc. Maintenance was impeccible. The grounds were immaculately kept.
On the downside, the walls WERE very thin so you could always hear (loudly) everything going on above or on the sides of you.
The parking was bad at times, and it bugged me that they didn't have parking permits for residents so if guests got to the spots before you, too bad, so sad--all spots were simply free game. That seemed totally unfair considered that these apartments weren't cheap! But once we moved into a townhouse on property, this was no longer a problem.
The only time we ever really had an issue with the office staff is when we were trying to get out of our lease a bit early due to relocation of job (and buying a house). It had always sounded 'easy' before (to break our lease) based on what they'd told us in the past. Little did we know, we weren't really being told about all the consequences/penalties involved. But, they worked with us to some extent and it wasn't quite as high as it could've been.
In all, it was definitely one of the best places we ever lived--although I feel for the price, I would've expected no less.
