Horrible Experience

Years at this apartment: 2005 - 2006
My entire year at this apartment has been a complete nightmare! It started when I moved in and the "accent wall" was painted horribly, I mean a 2 year old could have done a better job. So I placed a call to resident services and 2 weeks later the problem was fixed. Which wouldn't have been a pain if I didn't have all my furniture in the apartment. Then when you hear people say the walls are thin, they are NOT KIDDING! I understand that hearing your neighbors comes with living in a apartment, but seriously I think I might have a herd of elephants living above me. I hear my neighbors coming and going at all hours, I've come to learn way to much about my neighbors because I hear everything they do. I don't allow my fiance to walk up to my apartment or down to her car alone because I don't feel the apartment is safe. There is security on site, but it doesn't do much good when the guard has his feet up sleeping while anyone and everyone enters the apartment. As for location, the only convienences are the mall and some nice restuarants other than that it is a very rough area. Oh and good luck having company over since the walls are so thin, you can have 3 people over and your neighbors will complain. And the management team is 100% the worst I've ever done business with. They require 60 days notice to move out and they will not remind you as to when you need to do so. A quote from a leasing agent, "We are not required to remind you, that's just a courtesy." Basically they don't practice good business, rather than have a good reputation they try to screw you into paying more. I've never been at a apartment were they don't tell you a week or two before your 60 days are nearing. Maybe it's just me but I feel that is good business, ultimately I'm paying out the @$$ the least you can do is give me a heads up. Overall this has been the worst experience I've had in a apartment. After living there 1 year and paying my rent on time every month they rewarded me with the offer to renew for $115 more per month. WTF How does my rent go up from overpriced to really overpriced'' I can only hope that someone will take the time to read this and reconsider, I'm not bashing them just for giggles. If I save one person from this nightmare then I will feel I've done my duty. DO NOT MOVE IN HERE, UNLESS YOU LIKE NOISE, CRIME, AND COMPLETE JERKS(MANAGEMENT)!!!!!
