Sure enough, we don't have anything else to compare to in Houston. I lived here since I moved to Texas 5 years ago. We decided to move out this week just to see something different. Here are a few positive comments though:
* Swimming pools are the best part. So far we haven't seen a nicer pool in Houston than the one in the Crossing.
* Landscaping is gorgeous! Again 5-star.
* Interior is nice in general (arches etc).
Negative comments:
* Management is a big negative: rude and fake.
* Parking is horrible, especially with the greedy covered parking spots scheme.
* Very poor carpet.
All in all I think Old Farm is a good value. Just for the pool and landscaping I do recommend it to others.

i second your opinions! all true. all the negatives are super true. the carpet..yes.. they shampooed the carpet when u moved in to make it look good. Then 2 days later, it was flat. nasty.
the management.. hell. rudeness behind the smiling face and sweet, caring voice. they can think of the any excuses in the world. believe me.. lived there for 7 years.
