I have lived at the Reserve on Old Farm for 2 years now. Overall, it's been a pretty good experience as far as living in an apartment goes. There are the typical issues that go with renting an apartment... occassionally you hear your neighbors in the apartment next door, the front gates are usually broken and otherwise annoying and useless, the rent gets jacked-up when your lease expires, etc. However, the maintenance folks and gals in the front office are really nice and helpful. I once had a little leak behind my fridge -- the hose that supplies water to the ice maker split and was leaking water. I was able to shut off the valve to stop the leak. I called maintenance at 5:30 on a Friday expecting to hear "we'll be there on Monday." They actually came right out and fixed it. There have been lots of break-ins, though. A friend who lives across the street at The Crossing on Old Farm (same apartment complex, different name) has had her car broken into 4 times. My neighbor 2 doors down had her car broken into a few days ago. I park my car in my garage and haven't had any problems. I recommend getting a garage. Also, my friend across the street had her apartment broken into a couple months ago. Overall though, I've had a pretty good experience living here.
