I lived on the Crossing side for a bit over a year, and the only problem I ever had was my brand-new car getting broken into. I do remember getting some notices about break-ins, but that's pretty standard between 610 and the Beltway. I had my A/C break down exactly once and it was fixed within a day. No other issues, except the carpets are ridiculously fuzz-shedding.

I rarely had trouble finding parking (was usually home between 5 and 6), and I rarely heard any noise from my neighbors in my 3rd-floor apartment, though since my apartment faced Westheimer there was noise from emergency vehicles late into the night as well as the obnoxious motorcycle racers. Management was nice enough. Facilities were always nice and clean, nice landscaping.
