So, I've been here about a year and I will not be renewing my lease...for several reasons. First, there is a really bad infestation of spiders, ants, silverfish and roaches. Several neighbors, along with myself have complained about this and nothing has been done. The exterminatior only comes out once a week on tuesdays, and you have to make an appointment with them ahead of time...that's if you can get anyone to answer the phone. I had the property manager come to my apartment to see all the ants and roaches, and ahe told me that these are a different breed of ants, called rasberry ants, which are supposedly attracted to water. With that being said, a nest of ants have been coming out of my bathroom sink, and out of the hot and cold nozzles from my sink. I cant explain how infuriating it was to call maintenence twice, leave messages, and no one returned my phone calls. Also, maintenence has a bad habit of coming into your apartment without giving you a chance to come answer the door. The other day my roommate was in her room in her underwear, she heard a knock on her door and maintenence just busted in her room and didn't even say "maintenence" before the came in. They completely disregarded her and proceeded to check the smoke detectors. Besides all that, the biggest annoyance would have to be the parking... Why should I have to park my car across the street at the other complex in guest parking''' Maybe because there's NEVER any freaking parking! It's ridiculous to have to pay over $1000 a month, and you have to park down the street, and then walk back home. What a WASTE!!!! Do yourself a big favor. Find yourself another place to live! There are too many places in this same area that are way nicer that you pay less money for. Old Farm is WAY overrated! Oh by the way... be careful putting you rent in the night drop, because at least twice they've lost our money orders, and found them two weeks later. Talk about luxury!

I've lived in Old Farm for 2 years now...and the second year was not by choice - I was ill and was unable to move as I had first intended. I've experienced many of the items listed above and have had difficulties with phone answering as well as my rent being processed correctly. I once called twice a day for a week for the property manager to return my call...which I waited for an entire week prior to my bidaily calling...only to have to take off work and stop by...wait and then discuss my issues with her. I am moving once my lease ends and I can't wait! I'd look else where..oh and by the way, I have a coworker who also lives in old farm and she had her car broken into...only to have the complex blame her and offer no assitance in contacting the authorities or documenting the issue.
