Not worth the $$$$$$$$$$$

I lived here for almost a year until Hurricane Ike. When I called to tell them about my damage, they came to "evaluate" it. This meant they cut up the soaked carpet, and did nothing about the moldy/mildewy walls. I had to stay elsewhere for two weeks until I finally realized they weren't going to do anything about this in a timely fashion. When I called to check on the progress they told me there was lots of damage through-out the complex, and they were "doing their best" to assess the damage. I was also told to try and hurry to get a new apartment because they were filling up fast. I didn't realize it was my responsibilty to do their job. I'm surpised that they didn't just ask me to fix my place myself, and that they would reimburse me. I also am still waiting for my refund on my deposit, which when I called for the status is mysteriously not the full-amount, even though the only damage/cleaning that needed to be done involved the hurricane! This place is a rip-off.
