OMG, I hear ya....We never had hot water and had to boil water in huge pots to bath or wash dishes. My friends made fun of me and no one ever came to visit us because they were disgusted. My apartment was robbed durring the day 2 doors don from the leasing office, and no one saw a thing...Probably those crack heads I always called the police on. The neighbors were so loud and inconsiderate, we never slept well..Needless to say I was a real BIT** at work...Mostly due to lack of having a hot shower and sleep!!!! Don't do it!

I feel your pain, I've only lived in Houston for 3 months now and I hate it. I guess I came here at the wrong time. People tell me it was a lot different before the evacuees came. They think the city owes them everything for what nature brought onto them, including the sanity of their new neighbors. Shame on them, and shame on Houston for not taking the Louisiana gang elements into consideration when "welcoming" these people into the city.

I bet that New Orleans has a very low crime rate since all of the Katrina evacuees gang bangers and drug dealers left and added to the crime rate to other cities.

i truly agree with you and i feel that the mayor of n.ois sorry and should be thrown out on his ass. yall have just lost everything and he says only the hard workers can come back. he should be welcoming all his people home. if the people who lived there coouldnt go back then no one should be allowed back at all!!!!!
