Worst apartments I've ever seen

I lived here for a year from mid-2002 to 2003. To put it mildly, it was the worst living experience I've had at any place since I was born.
The guy who lived below me had the loudest music I've ever heard, which was coupled with the worst musical taste I've ever seen. "Lean On Me" every morning at 6 am' Come on, guy. My other neighbors made numerous complaints about the noise, yet the management did nothing. I didn't want to tell the guy anything, as I'd seen him slash the tires of another resident while under the influence of drugs. Seriously.
I also had to deal with bees in my wall, which isn't the complex's fault per se, but those little bastids stung me so many times... so many times...
Let's see... I had to constantly deal with the smell of marijuana, loud, offensive music, and just a general feeling of vulnerability. I finally moved out when my car's window was randomly smashed out by some thug (and egged on an earlier occasion). A friend of mine tried to get out of his lease after his car was vandalized (among many, many other things) and the complex wanted him to pay back the money he'd saved on rent in taking advantage of a move-in special!
In summation, do not move here. Do whatever you have to do to avoid moving here. You will regret it with every fiber of your being. Unless you enjoy fighting with management and countless hoodlums, this isn't the place for you. Trust me.
