This is the only thing that I can regret in my life...moving here has been a decission that I am sorry of.
I have paid my rent on time, I barely talk/call the office, and since the day I moved in this has been a disaster.
When I went to see the apartments, they showed me the model apartment, very nice people of course, they took me thru the nice halls, with plants, clean and quiet (I guess no one lives around that apartment).
The day I moved in the AC was not working (just in the middle of summer), it took them 2days to fix it, thank God I had my move in date before my previous apartment lease was over, The appearance of the apt was nothing like the model one.
3months after the refrigerator broke, around 9-10pm. I called the maintenance people, and they told me the only thing they could do was to this fix before noon next day, They came to the apartment at around 3-4pm, at that time I had to get some dry ice; my food was starting to rotten..
In November, some nice neighbor decided to throw a bottle of beer from his car and he broke my windshield...I called the police and told the management and they said...ooh, we are sorry but we cannot do anything for your property. I told them I wanted to leave the apts, and they said I had to pay the rest of the lease plus pay back the money I "saved" on rent when taking advantage of a move-in special!.
2weeks ago, my daughters bike was stolen from the stairs while she came up to get a glass of water around 3pm.
I am moving out at the end of the month and I am counting the days that go by.
I am constantly feeling vulnerable and insecure of everything that is happening out there.
Now, I got new neighbors, (pot smokers and with hearing problems),they have to have the volume all the way up the whole day of their tv/radio and car stereo...
The gate was broken for more than 2weeks, and no notice or any information of how/why/when this was going to be fixed..in the meantime, people will come and go as they wish.
This is not a safe, clean place at all...if you want a place to call home and feel at home..DONT MOVE HERE..!!
