My fiance and I moved in here July of 2006. We've been counting down the days until our year lease is up in 2007. My review might be lengthy, but is VERY IMPORTANT to read before you decide to move here. Today only marks the 4th day we've been here and I just had to get online to write this review to help others out. Before we moved here, management seemed very nice. The front of the apartment complex is very clean and quiet. They took us through the model and everything seemed very nice. VERY MISLEADING. After taking a tour through our actual apartment, EVERYTHING was broken or missing. They said it was because maintenance had not finished everything but assured us it would be fixed before we moved in. My fiance went ahead and signed her part of the contract since she could not come back for a while, which was mistake #1. This means that she could not back out of it and I would be forced to sign my portion. I showed up two weeks later to take a tour and sign my portion of the contract. They told me that maintenance still has not finished fixing up the apartment and would not let me take a tour. I traveled a long way to do this and felt I went out there for nothing. Since my fiance signed her part, I had no choice but to sign my part. They still PROMISED me it would be taken care of before we moved in. July 1, when we first moved our belongings to the apartment, only half of everything was finished by maintenance. We told the office staff and they gave excuse after excuse. OUR FIRST NIGHT at Park Falls, there was loud blaring music, drunks fighting downstairs, and large groups of certain thuggish ethnic groups walking around. I call them Gangs, you call them what you will. Many of my neighbors are drunks and drug users. And GET THIS! I was cleaning out the closet this morning, putting boxes away and I found something unfamiliar poking out of a hole in the closet wall. I pulled it out and saw that it was the needle portion of a syringe. I took some pictures of it before wrapping it up and throwing it away. Part of it had been painted white because when the maintenance men painted the walls, they painted over it. THEY DIDN'T CARE. And while I'm on that subject. There is also a part of the wall in the half bathroom where they painted over a roach. Anyway, it is July 4th and I only have 361 days left here in this dump.

You can get of your lease... Also until you sign your lease the day of your move in, you are not obligated. However you may lose your deposit because they held the Apt off of the Market. But you did not have to move in especially if the Apartment had not made the repairs or have it ready for move in. Make sure you document everything.

Are you serious?? Where are these ethnic groups that walk around? I have never seen this go on here. Are you sure you are not just racist?? And you make it sound like a yringe would be a ethnic gangster drug thing, what if a diabetic live dthere before you and if it was in a hole... that you found painted over maybe maintenance just missed it??? And FYI maintenance doesn't paint the apartments contractors do. You should have brought it to management attention and they probably would have done something. They are always very nice and take care of my problems.

boy it seems like the gang problem in the apartments is really bad, wait i live here and ive never seen a gang of people besides little preteens with there parents. oh i see that was an welcome to the gang party not a birthday party at the pool. GROW UP!!!!!
