Maintenance has gone down hill this year as have the advertized extras. Park Shadows now monitors electric usage with a view to increasing rents. THe units are old and show the wear particularly on the cheap vynle floors and bath tub areas. TEH rent at current levels reflects this. I strongly recommend that you look at the unit that you plan to rent to determine if you can live with the negatives. Advertized entertainment and snack/dinners are not worth the $0 price. Stay clear of them if you have a wear stomach. The swimming pool is often in need of cleaning, which may or may not be a factor for you. With the sun screens the units are particularly dark inside. Extra lighting will be needed unless youlike livingin a cave. THE office folks are friendly. The clubhouse is a joke, having only a TV. Everything is locked up, so the kitchen is unusable as is the TV which has no controller to change channels with. ON the whole it is an adequate, clean place to make your home in, if you are on a limited budget and can't afford newer digs.There is a considerable shortage of electrical outlets. None in the bathroom. INsufficient ones in the kitch blow circuit breakers, if you are not careful.THose have to be reset by maintenace folks.
