Face it this place is about forty years old.
Improvemnts are made to the complex exterior to make it attractive to potential tenants.
Apartment interiors are sadly lacking.
Bathrooms are dated.
Carpeting is cheap.
The padding is cheaper.
Activities are few and so lousy that they are poorly attended.
The clubhouse is a small acoustically annoying room with little else of interest in it.
Security is nonexistent.
Laundry machines are frequently broken, as is the whirlpool.
Closet space is great.
This is not a senior specific place.
It has a high percentage of young very noisy people.
This is a deent place for the money, but you would and should do better elsewhere, if you have a few bucks to work with.

I live at Park Shadows. I have been here for over 5 years. I never dreamed that I could live in Houston and it is so quiet!! We have huge trees and the landscaping reminds me of the country. BEAUTIFUL I enjoy walking at night and not once have I ever had any type of problem. The maintenance does a great job of keeping the apartments in super condition and their response time is usually within minutes. GREAT PLACE TO LIVE !!!

Park Shadows is a great place. Once you enter the front door, you will meet Mary. Mary makes Park Shadows. She will help you lease an apartment and then she will be there for you after you move in. Joei manages. Maintenance is quick and they do a really good job. I feel safe here. It is a great place to live.
