Park at Armand Bayou

So far, we are very happy =) From: CLArtist Date posted: 8/12/2005 Years at this apartment: 2005 - 2005   My best friend, my boyfriend and I moved into one of the 2 bed/2 bath lofts back in Feb. We left our prior apts, Skylar Point when our lease there was up because of some very poor treatment we recieved after we were burgled in Nov. of 04. We have been here in the Park since then (for the past 8 months) and so far we have really enjoyed living here. We were looking for better security, and basically just a better neighborhood and more helpful management. The apartments are spacious and attractive, and since they are up against the nature center, there are gorgeous trees and flowers practically everywhere you look. The pools are especially lovely, and the grounds crew there keeps everything spotless. I have not had a problem with maitenence personally... when I report a problem they always get someone down there right away to fix it. The longest it has ever taken to fix something was the next day when they had to order a part once. Management has been particularly helpful and polite to us, I haven't had any of the problems some of the others here have complained about. I have seen a few faces come and go, but everyone there has been knowledgeable and competant when we had a problem. I have found parking to be perfectly adequate...I have never had to walk more than 30-40 feet or so to get to my door. They have 1 assaigned spot per apt in front of your garage, and everything else is open for anyone to use. Since these apts aren't jammed together like they are in some other complexes, even when we have company we haven't had a problem with people finding parking spots. I would recommend the Park, it is a little more than most apts in the area, but it is worth it. If you aren't ready for a house, but still want an attractive secure place to live...this is for you!
