Why is it that every negative trademark of an apartment/subdivision is blamed on the "fema people"? Did Houston not have crime before 8/2005? Were all apartments perfect with no major problems before the storm? I think it's pathetic and very ignorant on your part to blame all of PNV's faults on "fema people" when there is a manager that's MIA, and a staff that changes alomost monthly.
If you're looking for blame you probably don't have to look any further than your front door..
While you are complaining and pointing fingers I wonder if it's your kids running around and tearing down the property at all hours of the day and night. I wonder if it's your "thug boyfriend" who jams his music and hangs out with his "thug friends" drinking and such at all hours? I wonder if it's you who leaves trash right outside the dumpster instead of putting it inside the bin. I wonder if it's you and your "ghetto" friends who are tering up the gym??
Maybe my pest control problem is coming from neighbors like you who don't work, don't watch their kids yet still don't have the "time and energy" to clean up themselves and their homes. Because you live on a section 8 property, you probably are unemployed, a mother of 5, under age 30 with the city paying for your rent, right??
I don't know you and it isn't fair to make these blind assumptions of you, neither is it fair of you to do it to the people of New Orleans.
Ignorance should come with a warning label.

I used to live there too and yes!!!! it was a roaches galore!!! When Pam was the manager I went to the office twice actually crying because I was microwaving my lunch and I found 2 roaches over my food. I also found one in the refrigerator and one on my bed. I am terrified of roaches and regardless of what "drlee" says, I am a very clean person, my apartment was very neat all the time.

In a way i agree, and disagree. I've only lived in these apartments for a couple of months and the biggest issues i've had have had to do with the rodent problems........from ants, to frogs, to spiders. I have to practically watch my step when walking to my front door, or run into my house from fear of lizards or mosquitos flying into my face or house!!! I'm definitely not renewing my lease there. It used to be a quiet environment when i first moved in but the walls are paper then, i can even hear my next door neighbors conversations/arguments. Or i'm waken up every other morning from the lawn work they do every day. I'm really tired of also having to call a hotline to get maintenance!!! Its been a month, and they still havent fixed my issues. What good is a confirmation number going to do. This is my first apt on my own, and i was definitely expecting better than what i got. These apartments are a perfect example that looks can definitely be decieving!!!
