Plaza Museum District Apartments

Close to Rice Univ. & Museums BUT ... From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 6/29/2004 Years at this apartment: 2002 - 2003   The management is terrible. They were seemingly helpful and friendly for the property tour, but couldn't be bothered once I signed the lease. It was difficult to get repairs done. Fixtures were of poor quality. The fire alarms went of repeatedly. At all hours. Trying to get my deposit back was a royal pain. And the kicker was my new mountain bike was stolen a month after I bought it. The bike cost more than 1 month's rent and management did nothing; they didn't even warn the other residents. I kept it on the third floor balcony overlooking the well-lit pool where you'd think it would be safe, especially since it was a gated property with security guards. If anything it was probably an inside job. I later found out there were several thefts and the management had no response.
