For the moment this is still more or less a good place to live IMO. However, as the title suggests, it may not be that way for much longer. It's a beautiful, well kept place to live at a great price. I saw comments about ant/bug problems and yes this is a reoccurring theme BUT if you are clean and put out ant and roach poisons then they won't be a problem. The free movie selection is actually quite good and is changed every month. Joggers/walkers will enjoy the path between the lakes, just watch out for the glass. Comes with a washer/dryer which are VERY noisey. Nice that its free but it'd be nicER if they'd replace/fix them instead of simply saying they will wait till they break. Parking is great. Not necessarily safe for your car but they have plenty of parking available.
Whats bad about it you ask' Typical Houston story. Good neighbors are moving out and bad neighbors are moving in. I hear gunshots from time to time but am not sure if thats out of the ordinary and they may be from the neighboring communities (we have one of those low-income places across the street now, d'oh!). The other day I was rudely awoken by police just outside my window who were yelling at 3 men to get on the ground. Would've gone back to sleep if it weren't for the chopper with the spotlight, not sure if it was the noise or the light pouring into my bedroom that kept me awake at that point.
I loved it while I was there but I feel it is increasingly becoming unsafe. SEk1KnECheF1ATXbXtrZ
