Pretty good, but pricey without adequate upgrades

This is a nice complex. I lived there for three years. Maintenance is pretty good. Management sucks. Everyone you talk to there is incompetent except Evangelina, who is the longest running face in awhile as well.

The rent increased sizably in three years, I guess to compensate for rising prices everywhere else, but why would I pay $1500 for a 1-BR there when I can get a brand new high rise with wood floors, granite counters and stainless steel'

They have made some upgrades, but not enough to really count. There were some car break-ins while I was there but not mine.

White counters are a magnet for stains that don't come out even with bleach. New flooring is much better than the old. Appliances are decent.

Security is kind of a joke because my visitors say that if you wave to the guard like you live there, they let you in. The ground level garage lacks adequate parking but the 4 level garage has plenty.

Overall, a good place if you can afford it, but if you want to spend that much money I'd get a new high rise. From what I've read on other apartments, the crime is everywhere, even the ritzy places :(
