Providence Uptown Apartments

Management is dishonest and/or incompetent From: Needsalawyernow Date posted: 9/10/2004 Years at this apartment: 2003 - 2004   Under no circumstances should you trust the management here. STAY AWAY! They will not respond unless you harass them. I had to e-mail them repeatedly to get them spray for the ants that have infested this building. When the toilet needed to be fixed, the Asst. Manager lied to me that maintenance had already left for the day. After I was insistent, the maintenance man showed up, and when I asked him, he told he had been there all day and would be until 5PM. I followed the lease to the letter when I gave them 60 day notice to move out. I stapled that months rent to the notice so it wouldn't get lost, and they had the arrogance to send me a late notice that they hadn't received the check even after they gave me proof they had received the notice! And when I objected to this, they sent me a notice to vacate. I am now drafting a consumer complaint for the State Attorney General about their bullying tactics.
