We moved in last dec. ('05), a great deal of promises to remedy the conditions of our new apartment (i.e.: fix bullet holes in windows, shampoo carpet, fix dishwasher, service a/c / heat, etc.) were flat out lies! They (MBS) never once replied to our "written" requests', claiming the we were "at the back of thge line". Eventually, after four attemts to fix our a/c unit, I had a proffesional come to the site to evaluate its condition. Not only was the unit undersized for the 998 sq. ft. apartment, it was in neeof replacement to meet current EPA standards. With all rents current, in the VERY hot month of June we made yet another request for the system to be "serviced". The management denied the request again, saying that theyyy could not afford to replace it at the time. As temperatures reached the mid ninties inside of the unit ( with several fans constantl running, I gave them an option of fixing the unit or we will not pay the July's rent. In response they placed a "lock-out" device on our unit preventing us from entering the premises. Per state law we attemted on several occasions to access our personal possesions such as clothing, childerens toys, etc.. They even went as far as stealing oour goldfish and placing them in the front office, claiming it was a lean on the owed rents. I am currentl finding out that most people that deal with this management company experience the same type of treatment (inquire any apartment locator in the houston area). We are suing them for everything we have lost as well as the priceless pictures of our family since the conceptions of our two small childeren....which are irreplacable!

i agree, i just moved in and my ac unit got smashed in by a car and now has a huge leak...its been 2 wks that i've been calling to get it repaired and yet all i get is excuses from the management..i called the corp and still nothing fixed. Its gettin' hot and my 3 kids all have asthma and my 4 month old had 2 asthma attacks yesterday ...called the "emergency" line and still no one was sent. I've been pretty patient and understanding i'm not the only one living here but when it comes to my kids getting sick, i don't stay patient and understanding anymore. I hate this damn place and wish i would of seen these reviews before i moved in. I highly DO NOT recommend this place also.
