I have lived here 2 1/2 years, and it used to be a very nice place to live. I have a very young child who I loved taking to the playground, but has become overcome with teens who like to bully the little ones, and adults. Parents need to not just pay attention to the younger children, but the older ones especially. Ive made some very good friends here, and am thinking about moving out of the area when my lease is up in 6 months. Neighbors are rude, and offensive.when they arent, their kids are. horrible people. they blame others for something out of anyones control. mistreat each other, because they can. then never apologize or take responsibility for something you should have taken care of in the first place. My upstairs neighbor is noisy, but they have kids, what am I to do' complain about a kid crawling on the floor' grow up. Sex offenders DO live on this property, and they have been moving all kinds of trash in here, even convicted felons who do drugs and party all night, I feel like im right where I wanted to avoid to begin with. the ghetto. Management is another issue. You do complain, they really don't work to do anything about it. loose dogs running about, and the bullying at the playground. I think its deplorable and will not be renewing my lease.

In defense of the Regetta, I invite you to go on the www.familywatchdog.us website. you will see there are no registered sex offenders at the regetta. there are ones in the complex across the field behind us, there are ones in nassau bay, and many in the area behind the HOP in webster. You can plug in any zip and find their names and addresses. However, this place has gone down hill over the past couple years. I have been here three years now and am not impressed with the direction this complex has taken. There are junk cars in the parking lot that have flat tires and have not been moved in years. One had a sunk in windshield. People are allowed to work on their cars. The maintainance peoples little carts spill nails and junk into the parking spots. they are not considerate about cleaning up after themselves after they work on your apartment. The racoon problem is out of control. There are dirty words carved on the laundry tables. The courtesy officers are a joke and rarely respond to your complaints of loud parties. There is so much management could do to make this a nice place, but they choose not to. Where is their loyalty to the tenants. If I were you, I would move on unless you are only temporary. There are some nice buildings that arent loud and back here by the small swimming pool we dont have quite the problem I have heard of with the racoons in the other two complexes.

I agree. After the manager they had before Katrina/Rita left (the very skinny lady, can't remember her name) Regatta went down the drain. It used to be so good. Is incredible that a change of the management could damage so much the apartments. We lived in a townhome for 3 years and had to move after they opened the door to all the ghetto people.
