Livin' On The Edge of Civilization

I lived in Regency Square for about five years. Let me tell you, it was an experience. During that time the Management Office burned down one Saturday night. I walked up there the next morning to see residents looting the remains of the building. A storage building in the back of the parking lot erupted in flames. There was a hostage situation along the back apartments with the complex parking lot filled with HPD. Cars were broken into very regularly (and usually 10 to 20 cars at a time). The office personnel and repair crew were quite nice, but I got the feeling that if they were on the Titanic, they would be smiling and telling you how nice the ice skating was on the deck after it hit an iceberg.
I can recall many other incidents. There was always something going on there. I can say one thing about it: It was easy to find because there was usually HPD helicopters over the place on a regular basis.
