A New Tenant's Perspective

This is the truth. I'm a new tenant as of early this year. It's too soon to tell the quality of living here, but I'm not impressed. Overall it seems average. I read the reviews by others after moving in and thought it was a great idea to contibute. Yes, if you have tenants above you, its noisy. Mgmt does not seem to care about dog poop on the grounds. I'm a dog lover, but there has to be a limit. I have to watch where I step. Mgmt should listen to tenants when given advice, but I don't think they care. On the average all apartments in a given neighborhood are alike. Its the little things that make a difference i.e. towel holders in the bathrooms. I have spacious bathrooms which is good, but only one towel rack on the other side of the bath tub. I inquired to the mgmt., but got stupid answer. You know the one that goes like "that's just the way it is, you can go buy one and install it yourself". Stupid answer. I've already thought of it and went and got new ones before I inquired. I wanted to hear what they had to say. Considering all things, I would not recommend this place to a friend. Unless they bribe new tenants with really cheap rent. And that's OK because you get what you pay for sometimes. So when comparing apartments of equal rent value, take a few moment and look for the little things that may matter a lot to you later.
