I've lived here for over a year and before I moved here, I read these very ratings and thought to myself, "well somebody is just merely making this stuff up and it could happen anywhere. I'll move there anyway". Boy, was that a mistake. Upon moving into my first "real" apartment after college, I was told that there some sort of security on the primises, WRONG. Probably after about 6 months of living there, my car was broken into and I had to buy a new car. What did management do you ask, NOTHING. When my car was broken into, the thief took my gate access card and manager (who will remain nameless but anyone who has written a negative comment here knows who it is) told me, "Sorry, you'll have to pay for another one". And don't let the weather change abruptly because your air conditioner/heater won't work propoerly. This place is a car thief's paradise and the ironic thing is there is an HPD substation around the corner! So I renew my lease for 7 more months (like an idiot) and I come out to my NEW car today only to see that someone has, once again, tried to steal my car. This time is was the whole row of cars next to mine that was affected as well. Although the property is ok (nothing spectacular), I just feel like I would be doing someone a dis-service by recommending this place to someone else. I'm taking the free color TV they gave me for renewing and leaving as soon as humanly possible. SUGGESTION:Invest in your future, BUY A HOUSE!
