Going Downhill

Today, we received a notice that there was a robbery last night. Weeks ago we got one about another incident. Crime reports indicate that this area is becoming more prevalent to crime. This is virtually impossible to avoid, but having gates that are supposed to work correctly would certainly help. The gates are often broken and wide open to all. Why do we pay for a gate remote or even have access cards for the gate, if they are constantly wide open. In addition to this problem, noisy neighbors aren't just attributed to the routine vacuuming or walking around. However, obsessive stomping, running around and 2 kids under the age of 10 left alone at all hours is not very tolerable. For the poster who said to talk to them before getting mad, I only wish it was that easy. Asking neighbors kindly to keep it down does not always work, even when asked at least 5 times. Not only has this been the case for us, we have also asked the office to get involved but they were ineffective. One instance was loud noise until 3am!! This apt complex is sold as a resort type complex and I think the amount we pay in rent should ensure that. I agree Sarah in the office is nice, though Jackie and Gloria are ineffective and rude.
