Why blame the Residents

I have been living at Rio Grande Ranch for too long, and I am on my way out!! How dare they send the residents a letter about us breaking the gates, yet the apartment complex does not repair the gates. The letter states that we as residents are responsible for what happens to the gates, and we are to report incidences where vehicles enter/exit from the inappropriate gates- why then do the leasing agents break these gate "laws" as well, yet they are not at fault. Please note that if you are considering moving in, you will also experience the added amenity of being "locked-in" or "locked-out" as the exits & entrance gates often keep one from entering or exiting the complex. Now who is truly at fault' Truly consider your options.
