As a former member of management, I can tell you that this place is not as bad as some people say. First let me say that crime happens everywhere. Everyone knows that. So many people think that management did not care when crime occurs, they are wrong. When crime does happen, what people do not know is that the managment team did everything they could to divert it. We hired Precinct 4 to patrol, we installed cameras (yes they do work, and we have had several vandals caught, as well as car thiefs!) We installed a whole new lighting that lights up the property like Alcatrez. Our gates may not work all of the time, but since the cameras were installed, the gates have only been broken a few times, because the RESIDENTS were the ones breaking the chain, and pushing the gates off track. Now they know that the cameras will catch them in the act. For the most part-problem solved. As for people smoking "pot" at the pool, that is not really something we could control, unless you called the POLICE. Maybe you do not agree with the way that we handled your situation, but this website is to talk about the apartments as a whole, not to personally attack the staff (now former staff) It saddens me to think that people have such dislike for us, but I have learned that not everyone is going to like you all of the time, but you still have to do your job. Effective September 6th, a new management team has taken over. Hopefully you will be happier with them, but more than likely they will have the same ratings as we did, simply because they are management. There is always going to be someone who has something negative to say. You can't please everyone all the time, and that is never going to change.
