I moved in last summer. The leasing agent got my move in date and apartment number mixed up so on the day I was to move in, the apt was not ready. I had to move in the following week but I was given a $300 concession. The apartments are quiet for the most part and pretty decent on the inside. Master bedroom is small in the two bedroom apts. No bugs or roaches but a few stray cats hang out by the dumpster. Boyfriend's car was broken into the first week I moved in so avoid parking in the back of the complex. Parking is very limited since its a small complex. Ghetto kids from the Walnut Bend Apts. lurk in the halls at all hours of the night. Pets are allowed but owners allow them to poop on the sidewalk so watch your step. Police has only been called once since I've been here and arrested a tenant for disturbing the peace and public intoxication. Notices have been left in the mailbox area regarding two break ins of first floor apartments. However, with all of that said I'm not afraid to come outside at night. Most of the residents are very friendly and security personnel is onsite on the weekends. Overall, its not as bad as most Houston apartments but its not the best either. I'll renew my lease as long as they don't raise the rent.
