We lived in the complex for 7 months which was too long! Management seemed fine at first until you signed a lease and then they didn't want bothered. The gates to the community were terrible; hard to open, didn't close, hit cars, etc. If you don't pay for parking, you'll be walking quite a distance to your apartment also. The residents let their pets crap everywhere and it sits on the grass and sidewalks for weeks! We had bikes chained inside our patio and they were stolen as well. When we left we walked around the complex and counted empty apartments and every building had at least 3 or 4 empty apartments. People were moving out constantly! Then when we moved out we got a $500 bill (on top of taking the entire deposit) from the apartment to replace the carpet in the entire apartment because there was a stain in one room! They told us it wasn't up to their standards to just replace one room, and that they'd have to replace the entire apartment. If this is true, then why is it cheap carpet, terrible laminate on the counters and cupboards, and shoddy workmanship' They also tried to tell us that we poured bleach in our bedroom on the carpet. However, there were no marks there when we moved out, and I'm not sure how we'd poor bleach underneath the bed anyway, especially since the laundry was on the other side of the apartment. There are soo many people moving out that they are going to screw the residents moving out to recoup some of those costs of having half the apartments sitting empty! Maybe if they had a real manager at this place and took care of their people they wouldn't have to try to recoup their losses through other outlets!

I hope you didnt pay that $500 .You dont have to pay for wear and tear.Always take video or pictures of your apartment before you move out.The manager wanted to pocket some cash so she created that bleach stain herself!

I agree with you. I moved out of the apartment. I was told I would only be getting half my deposit back. I keep a very clean apartment and their finding was wrong. I told them that they were just using the deposit to prepare for the next resident.
