Great place but not fully worth the $$

I'm currently a resident here. I live in a 1 Bdr. apartment here, size is adequate, however it would be nice to have slightly more room, at least when it comes to entertaining guest. The price for this size of an apartment and for the location, is slightly high considering what you're getting for you money. I think that it's more worth about $700-$750 in my opinion. The grounds are well kept, as is the pool and the basic weight room. In walking distance is a good supermarket, a good English pub, a bunch of restaurants and a few other things. There are a lot of "business professionals" type of people who live here, which helps with both the safety and the general quietness of the complex. Also the neighborhood is in a fairly safe part of the Westchase district of Houston, as you're generally surrounded by businesses and office buildings, however if you do go slightly south and east of the apartments there is a slight drop off in safety as there is a good drop off (aprox $200 or more) in the same size apartments. You're a minute or two from the Sam Houston Tollway and about 5 minutes from I-10. Two good malls are about 10 or so minutes away. Downtown Houston is about 20 or so minutes away. Galveston is about an hour away. In general you're pretty close to a lot of things. Houston is a great city and there is plenty of places to chose from apartment wise, I would rate this place fairly high on the list even with personally not thinking its fully worth the price.
