RUN FOR YOUR LIFE From: saferenter73 Date posted: 9/14/2005 Years at this apartment: 2002 - 2004   If you are looking for safety for you and your family, you won't find it here. I was a renter there for two years and the property went from satisfactory to unacceptable. First, the place changed management companies three different times in a two-year period.These professionals or wanna be's tried to serve me an eviction notice because they said I didn't pay my rent, but in all actuality, they didn't record my payment which was made on time.When I received the notice I took it to the management and they pretty much didn't believe me until I requested that they pull my file and go over every little detail until they found their MISTAKE!! Everytime it rained I had rain coming down my bedroom wall. Of course, this left a huge water stain on the wall that the so-called maintenance guys never came to clean and paint. After it rained and you walked into my apartment you could smell the mold, YUK. Whenever they painted a unit close to mine the fumes from the paint made it impossible to stay in my apartment. My son has chronic asthma and he had to live with all of the mold from the air ducts and leaks that the MANAGEMENT said would be cleaned. Secondly, at the time I had an Escort that was stolen and replaced with someone else's from another complex, so that answers any questions about SECURITY!!!!!!! Someone was watching me because I went to take my husband to work at 2:00am and between 2:00am and 8:00am this happened.The want-to-be security guards let any and everybody in the gate without asking any questions.I am so happy I got my family and RAN AS FAST AS I COULD!!!!!!!! The laundry facilities are indeed filthy, hot,and nasty. The cheap rent wasn't worth me and my children's safety. Before you make this place your home, please do EXTENSIVE research!!!!
