Very poor security

The property is very nicely situated but the security of property and tenants clearly (and surprisingly) not a management concern.
Tailgating into the apartment parking area is very frequent and nothing is done to prevent or even discourage it. Because of unauthorized cars coming into the building (some clearly in cahorts with a tenant),other tenants are finding it harder to park.
Doors leading from the car park into the apartment building are old and often don't shut properly.
Other entrances into the building are often left wide open.
Since a bunch of cars were broken into in the parking area recently, the apartment management has gotten in, in my personal view, amatuer-ish looking nite "security" person to "do the rounds"
Overall, very poor security.

if you ( anonymous) has a problem with tailgating or other security problems please provide your expert opinion with a solution.(cost, company names, references, background checks, how about a floor captain to assist with day-nite watch on rotating basis. Or do you just want to complain ????????

Ok, this is from another anonymous since you had to do a nasty response to the orginal poster. Why aren't all the tennants issued stickers for their cars to park in the garage? Then if there are cars parked in the parking garage that do not have stickers...THEY SHOULD BE TOWED!!!!!
I have seen people sitting in their cars waiting for one of the gates to the parking garage to open so they can slip in. We pay a lot of money for our housing at the Sabine Street Lofts, we expect to be able to park and feel somewhat secure.
