Still a Great Place

We have lived here for over four years. Every time our lease is up, we look around the new places in the area and always come back and re-sign here. We have a killer view on the top floor and were not affected at all by Hurricane Ike. OK, I stayed up all night while my husband and dog slept for 12 hours, but I only need one good night's sleep to get back to normal!

Whenever there's a problem, maintenance is on it and they have provided superior service for the length of our tenure. We are also very pleased with current office staff.

Now a family with two cars, as husband now works miles away, we have no problem finding parking. There is little noise and what little there is is mainly detected by sensitive doggie ears and not mine. Whenever we look for a new place primary concern is given to whether I'd be safe out there if the dog is ill in the middle of the night. I feel safe here.

Early June a skate park opened right across the street. No Parking signs went missing, trash was everywhere and kids were breaking in to skate our garage. They still hate us, but we have managed to find them off-street free parking (new signs), new trash cans and there are police, security guards from Sabine and Buffalo Bayou, plus Urban Park Rangers. I feel safe out there with the skateboarders and on the street alone, or with the dog.

With the economy in the dumps, if you work downtown and don't want to pay for gas, come here and make your home at Sabine. No, I'm not the manager and I don't work here. I live here in a 1 bedroom study and while space is tight we love our place and the people here. Weddings, babies, puppies, free brunch, who could ask for anything more'

there is plenty you could ask for, how about a staff that doesnt loose packages, how about clean hallways, or fair dealings from management. i think it is obv by reading the reviews who is staff that are writing reviews and who are actual residents.

Agreed that it is a great place. Whoever posted that last response has a chip on their shoulder. I am certainly not staff, but I suspect the anonymous responder above is a member of the competition......making untrue disparaging remarks.
