Sabine is a VERY expensive place to live. Although I've lived here for almost two years, but it's definitely not as nice as it was when I moved in. Trees and landscaping have been died or damaged in the hurricane and have not been replaced. The GE refrigerators are always breaking (although a major replacement is finally underway). While maitenance and some of the managers are responsive, it's a hassle to deal with things that shouldn't be breaking in a top-notch property.

Finally, there has been a series of break-ins in the supposedly "secure" garage, with no visible increase in security. This is BAD, and inexcusable in such an expensive building. Also, the construction of the skate-park next door has brought a lot of 'questionable' individuals into the area, although it wasn't as awful as some predicted.

I love living on the park and so close to downtown, but the crime issue is major and needs to be dealt with immediately.
