I had a horrible experience at Sabine St Lofts. Where should I begin. I will start with the roaches. You will likely need to get your apartment sprayed at least one time a month as there are tons of roaches as it is so close to the Bayou. Inattentive office workers routinely lost my packages and even babysat their kids in the office. When I tried to move out stopped by the office and gave notice, was told I didn t need to put anything in writing by office staff (same ones that would routinely lose my packages). Day I was moving out told I needed to provide written notice so forced to pay two months rent and mysterious $1000 releasing fee. Basically went straight to collections so I had to pay as lawyer would be more expensive. Horrible place, way overpriced and bad corporate policies. I have been informed by other ex residents that this is not an unusual experience.

With five years there I've never seen a fly or spider, certainly not a roach. If you ever read the lease you signed there's a requirement for written notice of intention to vacate. There was probably a simple form in the packet you received. You need to protect your own interests and not trust others to do so on your behalf. Grow up! Hopefully you didn't move to a house where you have to mow the lawn and fix the commode.

Yeah...I was shocked to read your post! I have lived at Sabine for a few years now and I have never had the problems you are talking about. The people in the office have never been anything but helpful to me and I've enjoyed living here very much. And come on...do you REALLY think that you can just walk into an office and say, "Hey, im giving my 60 days notice. Thanks." And that be it?! Use your brain.

obv this is management pretending to be residents to cover up how bad you are at your jobs. i now live in one park place, same price, way better amenities, better staff, you can not even compare. i would recommend people to move there. sabine st is the dumps.
