Yo!

Take my Advice-Keep Looking!

The apartment is not worth the price you will have to pay especially when compared to other apartments available in the area.

The management may offer you a "special" upon move in, but beware because you rent will increase drastically when your lease is up! I strongly advise everyone to keep looking because there are much, much nicer and larger apartments available.

The only good things about Sage Hollow are the full size washer/dryer included with every unit, and the convenience (walking distance) to grocery stores, video stores, and drug stores. Oh, and the maintenance personnel are very nice, but very overworked. They don't have enough maintenance personnel to keep up with the continuous water problems, roof leakage problems, and other problems.

They will turn you water off at the most unoportune times (early AM when you need to take a shower before going to work) WITHOUT giving residents ANY prior notice, which in my opinion is the least they could do!

There is no assigned parking, and thus the parking is inadequate for the size of the complex, and the driveways are in terrible condition - potholes, and cracked cement.

Sage Hollow allows pets and I love pets, BUT people with pets simply don't follow the rules, and thus let their cats run lose all night, and let their dogs defecate in the courtyard and the common area, which is really smelly and nasty.

The manager is the most two-faced, non-caring, inconsiderate person I have ever known. The assistant manager is very nice, but not 100% truthful.

Do NOT expect to get your full security deposit refunded to you even if you leave the apt. in better condition than it was when you moved in. I strongly suggest you take pictures of the apt. both when you move in and right before you move out if you expect to get ANY of you security deposit refunded at all.

They will charge you will bogus cleaning charges, and the manager will tell you it's because they have to clean the light fixtures, and the ceiling fans.

I resided in a downstairs apt. at Sage Hollow for 6 dreadful months. The upstairs neighbor woke me at all hours of the morning and the night, and thus I never got one good nights sleep; not one!

The apartments are very old, and the ceiling insulation between the apartments is terrible. You can hear you upstairs neighbor when he or she urinates! No joke.

Anyway, I have always received a full refund of my security deposit in all of the apt. complexes, and the house I have rented, but not at Sage Hollow.

Thank god I had the legal sense to take pictures of the apt. before I vacated, and even then I only received $100 of the $200 deposit back that I paid, which is absolutely ridiculous considering the apt. was cleaner when I moved out than when I moved in! And considering that it was infested with roaches when I moved in!

The quality of residents is low-budget, and there's always shopping carts all around the complex. There are always dope heads in the parking lot smoking pot in broad daylight!

The complex has security gates, but that doesn't stop people from getting into the complex. There's a trip button at the exit gate, and I witnessed many hoodlooms coming in that gate.

Well, for your sake, I hope you take my advice and keep looking. The only reason I ended up renting a 2 bdrm. apt. at Sage Hollow is because I was moving to Houston from out-of-state, and thus was very limited on time when searching for an apt.

But now I live in a much larger 2 story townhome with no upstairs neighbors, assigned parking, a washer/dryer, true security gates, a private patio, and nice middle-class neighbors. BUT the best part of it all is that the rent here is only $55 more per month than I was paying at Sage Hollow, and it is worth every red cent. Qlkxv6lfLuuXn3BrtpO7
