The good things; The apts in general are nice looking, they are close to downtown Med Center, the zoo and everything Houston has to offer. They are fairly new, fairly secure, and average priced.
The bad things include; cheaply built, (Hear neighbors with ease)bad location, (In the middle of the ghetto)and the maintence people like to go into your apt for any reason. The roads are horrible coming in from 288. Macgregor is all busted up (Thanks Mayor Lee Brown) and Southmore street has you taking a trip through ghettoville.(The complex is located off 288 and Macgregor on Sampson Street.) You do not want to break down on either two roads. Forget about any stores around you to if you like a more clean, safe shopping exp. This is NOT a convience to stores apt complex.
The complex was a decent place to live. For the most part (depending where you live) the complex was quiet and secure. It is a clean property. Inside the apts, the apts are designed "fairly" well and are priced average due to the location, not the apts themselves. IMO, if you want to move closer to the Med center or downtown and dont care about stores etc., you might want to check these apts out. However, dont look at them if your concerned about whats around the area outside the complex. You will hate it.
