Where do I start with this complex...The inside of the apartment is very nice but the grounds are kept terribly. Near the sign outside it is landscaped nicely to lure the unsuspecting house hunter but BEWARE!!! Breezeways are absolutely disgusting..Stains on the walkways from people's leaking trash (eye sore) which is embarrasing when you have company over. Stairs are discolored with old gum and leaking trash, in addition the stair banisters need to be repainted. Beer tops, cigarette butts litter the landscape as welll. Insisted that German place trash receptacles throughout the apartment but of course anything that involves spending money is a no no. The gates are always broken and you have to share the "resort style" swimming pool with rif raff from neighboring apartment complexes. Previous apartment manager was a convicted felon from Brazoria county who had access to everyone's personal information and I am still monitoring my credit report on that one..In addition you have to give 60 day notice before you move out.. this is ridiculous because most complexes can only hold your space for 30 days unless you can afford to pay rent at two different residences. They wanted to go up on my rent by $80 a month yet no improvements have been made to the property since i moved in. Apartment manager informed me that in my lease contract no improvements have to be done to the property in order for them to increase rent. Why are you going up then' This increase is for future renovations I was told.. whatever, do the renovations first and then I will believe that. Venting on here because i am extremely disappointed in the way I have been treated as a resident and would hate for another person to go through what I have been through.. I wonder if the fact that over 90% of the residents here are black have anything to do with the way you are treated and the upkeep of the property.. I would like to see how internacional realty keeps up the face of the city side apartments on Ardmore street given most of their residents are anglos..

thats what you get when you cant afford a property like mine, I live at City Side and im glad you people cant afford it here... its not that the property keeps up the face, its we have more respect for where we live, try getting a salary that can allow you to pay more for your rent, and you wouldnt have this problem.... or get a HOUSE

It is definitely the management at the Savoy.. to the anonymous ------- above or below who is you people? Salary has nothing to do with it since most tenants at the Savoy are young black professionals or college students. Given Internacional realty recently acquired City Side I wouldnt say what wouldnt happen because you choose to pay more for something that is not YOURS!The Savoy was a gorgeous property at one time too.. We will see if you hold the same opinion when you fast forward six or seven years.. True people live where they can afford but damn near $1000 month for rent is not CHEAP..
