overall a good place to live

I recently moved out of Skylar Pointe not because I didn't like it, but to relocate closer to work.
I have lived in 2 different units here, one over the parking lots. What other people have said about the roaches is true, there is a slight problem, but as long as you keep a clean house, don't leave any food out and plug your drains, you won't see many at all.
Aside from that and parking (there is almost no place for visitors to park) I found Skylar Pointe to be a good place to live. I felt safe (even though the gates were stuck open half the time), the buildings were sturdy and constructed well, it was quiet, even when I lived over the main parking lot, and the staff here is wonderful. Whenever I had a problem with my apartment, the maintenance men were there within 24 hours (usually the same day), and the office staff were friendly and helpful. The management here is excellent, the best I have seen so far. You could pay less for the same sized apartments with the same amenities in this area, however it is worth it to spend a bit extra here because of the management, I knew they would always take care of any issue I had, and do it in a friendly way. I had an enjoyable experience living here and I would live here again if I ever decided to move back to that area.
