I moved into here cause not only is Skylar Pointe one of the cheapest apts. around, but they also have a very lenient dog policy, and allow multiple large dogs. It was very hard to find an apt. around here that allowed me to have my 75lb. doberman. Skylar Pointe like almost every apt. has breed restrictions, but they never asked to see him in person or even a picture. I could have told them I had a 2lb. chihuahua. There or other breeds of dogs that live here that are on the breeds restricted list. Like this sweet pit bull that lives close to me. Even though pit bulls do have a bad name. Like my doberman they are on the "evil dog list".
One of the main reasons why I want out of here is: the only way you fit in here is if you just ran from the boarder. I am serious hardly anyone speaks English here. Including some of the maintenance men. I get sexually harassed when I walk my dog or even get the mail. (whistled at or vulgar Mexican talk) I don't feel safe walking around at night.
Something really nice about Skylar Pointe is there main swimming pool. It's very nicely landscaped was a stone waterfall that goes into a kinda kid pool with a few rocks kinda trapping them in from the larger pool. They also have a hot tub. That was a big plus for me moving in cause I love hot tubs, but of course it never works.
The parking isn't to bad for me because we are issued one covered parking spot per apt. People do occasionally do park in my spot. The worst thing is there is a sewage pipe that loves to overflow right where I park my car. So many many times I have had to wade through raw sewage to then get into my car and drive to work. When I say raw sewage I'm talking about t.p. chunks and turds right there. I swear to God one day I saw a kernel of corn!
One more thing about the safety. I have received multiple crime notices, and my boyfriends truck was broken into. I'm getting the hell out of "little Mexico"!

I think your just racist and you need to get over it. There are people form all walks of life living in this complex. Speaking of, my boyfriend is mexican, and you speak of "vulgar mexican talk" Its called spanish you idiot! Grow up. This is america.

exactly this is America, and we do speak English here. I can also speak Spanish pretty well, and what I heard coming out of their mouths was no Spanish I have ever heard. Also an update on how great Skylar Pointe is. A day before I moved out some thug was cleaning out his gun and it accidently went off and fired a into the bottom apt. the same room where a mother and child were. The reason the guy was cleaning his gun was because some men that lived in the apt. next to him had prostitute over, and her pimp was banging on their door swinging a gun around. One of my neighbors also told me shortly before we moved out. That their 12 year old daughter and her friend were going to the pool. They noticed they were being followed in their truck by a couple of older classy Hispanic men. They stopped the two girls and asked them if they were going to the pool, and trying to HIT ON THEM! My friends daughter felt very uncomfortable and told the men she was only 12 in hopes they would leave her alone. The men then told her they didn't care how old they were, and then they proceeded to watch the girls through the fence at the pool. That is just sick. I also have a young child. Now you have to be worried about your children getting sexually harassed or even worse. NICE PLACE The cops are at that apt. complex weekly. If you feel safe there is just cause you don't know what really going on around you. That's what these kind of sites or for.

I am so sure you get "sexually harrassed"...if you live alone with a dog....I can't imagine what you look like!!!! You seem like a lonely person who doens't have anything else to do but to complain about 54% of AMERICA. See...the other thing is...that most of those "MEXICAN'S you complain about work hard to have a decent life for their kids....white trailor trash (which is probably your type) can't afford to live anywhere else but the trailor park!!! So why don't you go back to the trailor park and find you a good ol' cowboy with missing teeth...I am sure he will be glad to have a women like you!!!
