------ is a good manager, anyone who have been around the block can tell. She stays on top of things despite the situation. There is some ghetto, part of the complex is reserved for low-income state supplemented housing. The pool has been green. The pump broke once (it was really old) and she immeadiately replaced it and they struggled with getting the algae out with the rains. A common pool thing. I have had multiple maintenance guys, all spoke english and were very nice. Israel is my favorite. ------ was out for a little while having her baby but has been constantly back since then. The "social room" is not a social room, its an afterschool program for the resident kids. All colors welcome. The fitness room was temporarily closed after warnings of unsupervised kids and mistreatment of the equipment. ------ has since then made individual arrangements with the people who actually use it so that they might be able to use it as needed. The garages arent small just one car garages. The average car fits. I have seen many SUVs and Trucks park in them. Even if not used for parking its a great storage area. This is one of the few complexs that arent there to screw you over, that really do a good job at maintenance, and care. They do things (like A/C coil cleaning) that no other complex has ever done for me. If you are looking for fancy go somewhere else and get the DVD library and other things you never use. This place has value. Its nice, spacious, good amenities, gated, comes with a garage standard. My apartment has TWO closets in the master, one walk in, TWO coat or storage closets, a huge kitchen, my washer and drier are inside not on the porch, I have tons of huge double-pained windows and a huge porch, even crown molding. I guess some people just need to realize that this isnt marketed as a luxury complex b/c frankly it isnt. Its a very nice middle option for those not wanting the ghetto or wanting to pay the luxury prices.

I moved over to Sprucewood about fours years ago. The management was much better. Therefore it was a much nicer place. I have watched this place go to the dogs (ghetto). I am actually putting in my 30 day notice today. I could not be happier. I predict that within the next 5 years this place will be just like the government projects.
