i had a post, but i accidentlly deleted it. but here goes an update..

my then boyfriend moved into these apartments and i knew it was a mistake. this was in march of 04. in august we married and i moved in with him. i hated this place before i moved in. he had made a year lease, so we had no choice. bugs was something we delt with at the beginning and we continue to deal with a year later. my restroom and closet share a wall. and for some reason my closet wall is full of mold. VERY UNHEALTHY. not only that, but one day a yellow fluid started to come out of our ac vents. all of the av vents. our bedroom, our kitchen, our living room and the bathroom. i said it was urine. it smelled like urine and it was the color of urine. the maintenance guys came and told me it was ac fluid. RIGHT! well that dripped all over my carpet..and we asked for them to clean it or put a new carpet. three days later..3 DAYS LATER...they came and cleaned the carpet, it didn't change anything. a week later, our ceiling started leaking again. we told the maintenance guys, they said they had nothing to do with it, only the painting guys could fix it. we let the office know. WE STILL HAVE A WHOLE IN OUR CEILING. they had two walkin thru doors facing the streets along with the car entrance doors. the walkin doors was great for us, mainly because our apartment was right in front of it and we could park our cars outside. then one day the welded them down. telling us that it was dangerous to have them open. so we had no choice but had to park inside. from what i was told, the parking permit cost $100. a tad bit much don't you think' three weeks ago, my car was parked in the parking lot, with a parking permit mind you. my husband left to go to work and my car was no where to be found. he then woke me up and told me my car was gone. WHAT IS THAT' the security guy knows my car and he knows me. btw, there's only one security guy and he doesn't really walk around. he stays put on one side of the complex, when he should be going around and/or staying in the front. so yeah my car was towed from the complex, with the excuse of my parking permit not being visible. they charged me $171.84. and to this day i don't know where my parking permit is. my husband thinks who ever towed didn't see it..then when he dropped the car off he saw it and took it out just so that i would have to pay. which means those idoits broke into my car. what kinda ---- is that' i don't have money to throw away.

the people there are all middle eastern folks. nice and peaceful area, located between a intermediate school and an elementary.

there's enough parking available now, mainly because rumors started that people were getting robbed, not true. so a lot of people moved out. it's crazy when you walk thru the complex, cause all the apartments are empty. so of course there's a lot of parking.

onto the construction. the office building burnt down..or someone burnt it april or may of 04. it's still not up. they moved the office to the party room. it makes our complex look extremely dirty and ghetto when you drive in. all burnt up and with a big yellow sign sayind 'CONSTRUCTION SPECIAL'. why don't they just fix it already. it's almost a year.

when it rains you have lakes everywhere. a lot of the neighbors call it Stancliff Lake instead of Park. you can't walk our of your apartment and to your car without having to go thru an obstacle course.

unhealthy, my husband and i catched boils living here. like i said the carpet and the wall is full of mold and who knows what else. so we now have boil scars and we spent money on the dr and medicine that no one is going to give back. boils, painful boils.

my advice, stay away from these apartments. they are no good. yes they may look somewhat nice, but they aren't. it's nothing but frustration. i plan on moving out of here as soon as my lease is over. june 1st.
