I lived at Steeples on Kirkwod. My roommate and I signed a six month lease.Half way through the lease my roommate skipped out on me bouncing several checks. I then moved out but continued to send my half of the rent in each month. Now the apartment tells me we owe $2,000 for breaking the lease. They were not the least bit empathitic to the fact that I had lived up to my part of the lease and were rude when I asked to discuss it.
