I currently live at The Steeples. It's not the greatest place to live but it's not all that bad. I have lived here since mid 2004 and yes the in office management has changed, I have seen many different faces since I have been here. I have neighbors that get out of control with LOUD music, kids up stairs that seem to be trying to come through my ceiling at times, and a neighbor that is constantly having knock down drag out fights with his wife that can be heard through the walls. I personally think the rent is too high for the quality. There is a problem with mold, I have seen it in another apartment as well as mine. A maintainace guy didn't seem to think it was an issue but the bathrooms constantly smell of mold regardless of what cleaning method used. The maintaince crew dosen't seem to make proper repairs as they are often needed again for the same issue. Recently, it seems as though they have let anyone that walked into the office rent here b/c there are many new faces around the property that do not seem to care about their surrounds. At least one gate is always broken. Overall, it's not that terrible, although late last year, someone was pistol whipped whipped around 6pm at the mailbox's. Next lease renewal I will not renew as the rent increase will not be worth it.
