I have lived from 2005-present.Presently i am still staying at the steeples and i am moving out by may 1 2008. I read all the reviews and the review that was posted as far back as 2000 is still true of today. I have roach problem in my apartment, they keep chainging managenemt. My closet doors never closes and my fridge is broken and i have requested for them to come and fix it for the past 6months no one has showed up. My car was stolen once and broken into another time. i don't like to stay out pass 7pm because i am scared. Twice two ladies have been almost raped and one held at gun point. A lady went to the fitness room to execrise and she was held at gun point. The percentage of those who say they had no problem with the steeples is insignificant because more than 70 percent of the people had horrible experience with the steeples. Majority carries the vote. As of April 7, 2008 the mangement passed out a flier saying that the resident should be careful because the crime rate at the apartment is increasing and that we should make sure we lock our cars and apartment carefully. For all of you who have lived at the steeples i stay by the BENTWORTH SIDE and there was a day i heard a lady screaming so i grabbed my phone and opened the door on getting outside a lady was on the stair case and a guy was trying to rape her, some other resident came out as well and the rapist ran away. Just imagine that!!!! When i go out at night i always call my neigbhoor to come out and escort me inside. Thank God it will be over on may 1, 2008. I know that every apartment has it's own problems but think about it, the steeples is very close to westheimer and brairforest, you will think it should be safe over there but it is not. Just for the record the police are always patroling BENTWORTH because of the crime increase at the steeples.

Well you've made up my mind. I was thinking about renewing my lease despite the incompetent staff, broken EVERYTHING, & ridiculous situations this place has put me in, just because the rent is CHEAP, but now I'm scared out of my mind. I'm ready to move out today. Too bad I have more time on my lease...
