I recently moved to Stone Canyon and I have been very impressed with all aspects of the community. The office staff is extremely nice and they take the extra time to get to know their residents by name. My apartment was exceptionally clean for my move-in, and in really good shape. You can tell that the management really keeps up each apartment.
The community grounds are very well kept: the landscaping looks great and I rarely see even the tiniest bit of trash. The management even considers cigarette butts as trash!
Safety was a big concern for me and my family, but I do have to say that I feel safe walking in the parking lot after dark from my car to my door. I love the gated entrance, and the gates only stay open long enough to allow one car go through. When I moved in, I was up late at night on a Saturday night, and the community was very quiet. There weren't any cars driving around the parking lot, and I haven't seen any young adults/teens wandering about. The management has zero-tolerance for anything disruptive, which is great. Also, each apartment has an intrusion alarm, and if you have a home phone, the management will pay for you to have it monitored by the alarm company.
The 24-hour fitness center (and business center) is top-notch and so convenient! The pool is always kept clean and neat.
Overall, I am very satisfied with Stone Canyon and I would recommend it to anyone looking for peace and quiet, great management, safety, and a beautiful community.
