In 2004 I moved into Stonewood. Looked nice and safe with those big elect. gates and the selling theme of security patrols / 24 hrs. day. Not so. Took me a few months to realize this. Gates open 24 hrs. day / malfunctioning and never getting repaired. At the end I armed myself for security. Management's actions are sending out letters to tenants to watch out for your own safety. I did that by not going to Iraq. Stalked female. I moved out!!!

I lived there for 1 year and it was a very pleasant experience. The electric gates are not "security" gates and I doubt they were never repaired during your stay. Iraq?... What are you talking about?

I would like to make a comment also; I have lived here for a long time and the gates have always worked, as a matter of fact these gates work better than anywhere else I have ever lived before. And who do you hang out with that is stalking you????

Crime is everywhere...you are just as likely if not MORE likely to be stalked in a private residential home as you are anywhere else. I have never understood why people think they should be any safer in an apartment than they would be in a home.....I rent a home in a very nice neighborhood (and pay quite a bit in rent) and we have just as much crime as I witnessed in apartments I lived in.
It is good that you armed yourself. Your first line of defense is you. Followed by the police department, which is who you pay your tax dollars to for law enforcement and protection.
