Stonewood Apartments

One of the best places in the loop for the price From: maniacal78 Date posted: 5/28/2006 Years at this apartment: 2005 - 2006   As a twenty 26 year old male many of my friends currently live in apartments and I have found Stonewood to be either superior or comparable to theirs and at an afforable price. My only complaint is that parking late at night has become awful, which is odd because it wasn't that way when I moved in a year and a half ago. I have had few problems requiring maintenance but each time I called my problem was fixed the same day. The grounds are well kept. The train yard next to the apartment does cause some noise but I live near the pool area and the noise seems pretty distant. I usually have a T.V. on in my apatment and never hear it. What I do hear is my third floor neighbor stomping around like he's crushing grapes all day. If possible I'd try for a third floor apartment. I have recommended this complex to many of my friends for its afforability, location, and cleanliness.
