I am looking for a new place. I loved my first 1 year here. The apartment complex was great until new management(Greystar Management) took over. They ran off the really nice office staff with intelligence and substance. The main issue in this complex is the new management and their staff that are minimally skilled and do not genuinely care about the residents who pay the bills and their salaries.

I have not noticed it for the last few weeks but I was told by the management after I complained several times about all the restaurant menus and flyers from cleaning services, etc., that they actually encourage these businesses to send the illegal immigrant army around to clutter your door with menus.

They have also sold out to some corporation to house there 10-20 trainees here (I would bet they are not paying the same rent I am). In the morning, it looks like packs of day laborers standing on the corners out in the apartment complex as these "corporate individuals" hang out waiting for one of the dozen generic vans parked in a row in the complex to haul them off. This is certainly not the family environment that I saw when I first moved in under the old management.

The aggregate company next door is very dirty and 1-2 nights a month you will not be able to sleep because of the banging train cars all night. Plan on having to wash your car at least twice a week because of the heavy dust in the air from the aggregate yard next door. Forget about a decent view from your apartment unless you like trucks and trains. There has been some effort to get street cleaners to sweep up some of the dust left by the many large trucks hauling aggregate out on the street in front of the apartment complex but you can still expect to have to wash your car more often because of all the dust in the air and on the street.

Even though the complex is small, it is so frustrating having to wait for your package as the office staff crawl over a pile of unorganized packages (UPS, USPS, Fed Ex, DHL) looking for yours. Several times I have had to go back to my apartment after being told my package was not at the leasing office, contact the shipper, get a shipment delivery notice from them including information as to who signed for the package, and then go back to the office armed with this information to prove to them that they had signed for the package after which it is back to having to watch them dig through the pile of unorganized packages until they finally find the package. All they would have to do is write the apartment number on the package and put them in order with this number clearly visible but that would take away from their time on the phone and internet. At this point, I would be happier for them to not even accept packages for tenants so that I did not have to deal with them anymore.

No television in the exercise facility for 2-3 months but the new management promptly got themselves new furniture and and nice television in the leasing office. I am told that they are waiting on an alarm company to install an alarm on the TV. I could understand this if it was 2-3 weeks but not 2-3 months

During the last 3 months there has been a large shipping container parked out in front of my apartment in prime parking places. I was told that it was equipment or appliances for apartment upgrades and it could not be parked 50 yards away in a corner of the complex that has visitor parking places that often sit empty. I guess it is easier to make the residents to park 50 yards away rather than have the day laborers push a cart of equipment an extra 50 yards whenever they finally get around to installing the equipment.

The complex looks nice on the outside but BEWARE. I see a lot of people moving in and out of apartments all the time now.

On a positive note, after posting this complaint and digging around to find someone higher up in Greystar, I did get a call from the regional manager for Greystar. This person listened to what I had to say and seemed genuinely interested in dealing with the issues.

I moved into this complex before Greystar took over. While we have seen some nice upgrades, and had to have dealt with a large crate taking up prime parking, it is genuinely a nice complex. I find this review though very right on target. P.S. What is up with the mini van people? Freaking weird! Also whats up with the rental hikes here? I first moved in here when a 1bedroom was 650. Now they go for 800? Id love to stay, but there are just a few things that need fixed: 1) the new hire girl in the front office. She has been here since August. I dont think she follows through with anything you ask of her 2) I have noticed that most of the regulars who live around my unit, have moved out. Must be cheaper rent in the area? 3) Parking - needs enforced. I dont think friends should get the prime spots. 4) can they build a large wall for the cement crushing plant next door? They are loud! Make them drive through a large puddle too so they dont drag all that dust onto the main road we have to share.

I am in total agreement with these reviews. My wife and I moved here in March from Ohio and were told by the staff that it was mostly business people living here. The units are really nice but not enough to keep us here. Our first 5 weeks we dealt with cockroaches running rampant and had to be extinguished 3 times. The management and staff are pretty bad at taking notes and getting requests taken care of. We had to call Graystar to finally get some results. They gave us 3 washers and all of them have been broken to some extent. The parking situation is horrible; there are times when we come in after 8:00 and have to park 2-3 buildings over. There is no parking enforcement at all. If you want to live in a mostly younger environment that parties alot then you found the right place. I just bought a new car and this morning found a broken vodka bottle right next to the tire - very professional!! We are already looking for another place and will never reccomend this to anyone.
