Stratford House Apartments

Trouble From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 7/14/2007 Years at this apartment: 2002 - 2007   I've been at Stratford House Apartments since 2002. The workers seem to care more about the grounds than the people in the units. The staff backtalks you when you ask for the workers to come. For example, I recently asked for them to reset the breaker for an outlet in my bedroom. The staff told me to "try another outlet". The rent price continues to go up each year. Our air conditioner does not work right, and attempts for the workers to come and fix it have been made since 2005. They come in, blow out our unit (which is beyond the point of being able to be blown out), and tell me "it's better than it was". Our air conditioner has no ducts, and instead has a set of plastic PVC pipes carrying the air to the vents. I once asked the staff if their workers were HVAC certified, and they said they were, but they were unable to prove it to me. They only give you 1 parking space, so if you have 2 cars (like me), you have to park in the back by the dumpsters, in the rocks where tires can easily get busted. I have had patio furniture and my cable stolen from me in the past.
